Who we are

Our aim is to improve and support the community for everyone and provide a safe space for socialising that everyone is welcome to join. We could not do this without the wonderful help of our volunteers and service providers.

Tasha is from Liverpool and has been volunteering once a week at The Drive since May 2022. Tash believes that the mosaic and murial workshop she hosts is  good for wellbeing, expressing creativity, and emotional state. Her sessions are open to all ages and abilities, and she finds it’s a great way to socialise, engage with people and express what you’re feeling into a picture. Learning new skills and enhancing wellbeing is at the heart of what Tash provides at The Drive.

Lewis is from Liverpool and brings his services to The Drive from Central Liverpool Credit Union which is a non-profit community savings & loans co-operative. He finds his services benefit The Drive by providing advice on financial issues, information on low interest rate loans, savings and promoting financial resilience. Coming to The Drive allows comfort, and reassurance and helping with financial stress. Any alternate services can be signposted.

Meet the Team

Olga has lived in Canada for 30 years and she has previously worked in commercial photography for magazines and now works in Digital Art.

Olga has now been volunteering at The Drive since July 2022, every Wednesday, offering her collaging and arts and crafts workshops to the community. Olga teaches collaging techniques and art journaling and she believes these sessions are relaxing, therapeutic, and good for mindful well-being. Anyone is welcome to join these sessions.
